Thank you, Dries van Noten, for consistently showing collections that are confidant, intelligent and downright celebratory. Mix and match separates are grown-up and lovely and cozy and, yes, so stylish: Just the things we all would hope to be on our wedding day and every day. The Fall 2009 runway show from Paris was rife with relaxed, confident pieces so unpretentious and joyful, they practically shout, “Take that, recession!” And also, “Marry me a little.” (And honeymoon me a little, and rehearsal dinner me a little…)
