A brilliant bride friend of mine is currently in the process of seeking a show perfect for vow-saying and move-busting equally. And in peacock blue, no less. I’m mad for a bright, colorful shoe — especially on a bride! — and think this is a lovely way to play into the whole “something blue” idea without, well, seeming like you’re trying. (Also, snaps to brilliant friend’s brilliant groom, who is seeking a subtly-coordinating tie.) She’ll be wearing her mom’s wedding dress (which was, in turn, her mom’s aunt’s dress) — it’s 1950’s fabulous, with some slight tweaks to jazz it up to present-day style standards.
